Whole cell heater:
- Enables studies in DACs at pressures above 130 GPa and temperatures above 1200 K
- Maintains constant pressure (within 1 GPa at megabar pressure range) and temperature (within 5 K at 1000 K) for
several hours - Allows accurately temperature measurments with an external thermocouple in a whole temperature range
- The setup does not have measurable temperature gradient within the pressure chamber
